For the seven nights of Switched On London the Design Museum will be bathed in coloured light that has been inspired by seven major design icons from the last century.

Each of the icons has been deconstructed and translated into light to celebrate, entertain and inform passers-by and visitors to the Design Museum.

The original image that inspired the design will be projected at high level onto the side of the building and a 3 storey high digital clock displays the date each of the objects were created.
