'Light at the end of the Tunnel'

The installation at Bermondsey Street Car park takes as inspiration the link between the More London development on Tooley Street with the neighbouring Bermondsey area via Bermondsey Street. The Car park stands at this junction and will be used to emphasise and encourage a link between the two areas. By exploiting the existing architectural features of the space such as the buttresses with colour washes, shape projection to the sheer wall near Tooley Street and in creating subtle movement it is expected that an interesting visual link will be developed at the road junction and this will change depending on time and the direction in which the viewer is passing the installation.
